To assist clients to optimise the use of our legal information resources and services, we offer library tours, legal research instruction and our Book a Librarian service.

Library Tours

30-60 minute session to acquaint you with the general layout of the library and the resources and services the library has to offer. Available to individuals or groups. Arrange a Library Tour.

Legal Research Instruction

30-minute session to demonstrate how to find, manage and research legal information efficiently and effectively. Book Legal Research Instruction.

Book a Librarian

LSA Members: consider including this program as a CPD learning activity in your mandatory annual Continuing Professional Development Plan as required by the Law Society of Alberta. Book a Librarian.

We offer confidential, one-on-one, hands-on legal research training by appointment. These sessions can be customized to provide specialized legal research assistance on a particular legal topic.  We have also designed instructional sessions with a focus on topics such as legal research on the web, how to subscribe to current awareness tools such as RSS feeds and e-mail alerts, how to research using print resources and how to navigate through our various e-resource subscriptions.
